This is a first photo made during week trip to Azores, island Sao Miguel, in the beggining of July 2015. There is a famous viewpoint Lagoa das Sete Cidades, simple reachable by car, from which you can see twin lakes named Green (Lagoa Verde) and Blue lake (Lagoa Azul). These lakes are located in the crater of dormant volcano and they are biggest reservoire of sweet water. The speciality is that those lakes are truly ecologically different, which is undermined by different colours of them.

Check out this image Lagoa das Sete Cidades. The viewpoint is closely connected to road, no problem to catch it from Ponta Delgada (capital town), which is let say typical for the most locations in Sao Miguel. If you will be there in the same time like us (summer), you can’t avoid this blueish flower, flowering hortensia. They are growing, simple speaking, almost everywhere. In this photo, blooms of this flower served as typical foreground of this photo.
